This section will show some innovative new tools as well as more advanced tools for creating design visualizations. These sections are intended to show the designer some simple tools that will help them better communicate their designs, as well as some more advanced tools for which they should have a basic understanding in order to best work with consultants that are using these tools.

The first section shows some basic but new tools that should be relatively easy to implement. Section 4.2 covers advanced Photoshop and painting techniques, the third section, 4.3, discusses issues with 3D rendering applications. The next section covers 2.5D animation and compositing, section 4.5 looks at realtime applications. Section 4.6 discusses analytical simulation, and the last section looks at some emerging technologies and applications.
