Work for the week of November 7, 2009 to November 14, 2009
- Completing installation of permanent ground anchors at Crib Wall 1
- Placing crib wall backfill at Crib Wall #1
Traffic Control/Weekend and Night Work
- Monday, November 9, through Friday, November 13, 2009, expect periodic lane closures on the northbound George Washington Parkway between 10:00am and 2:30pm.
- No weekend work is planned

General Project Description
The project consists of the rehabilitation of crib walls along the northbound George Washington Memorial Parkway from the bridge over Windy Run to Overlook #1. The work includes removing trees on the face of the wall, repairing damaged crib wall members, constructing shotcrete anchor panels, and other miscellaneous work.
Traffic Control / Affects to Public:
The GWMP Parkway will be open to traffic at all times. Lane closures may be necessary for equipment and material access to the work sites. No lane closures will occur during the standard GWMP Rush Hours of 5:30 am to 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Design/Construction Schedule:
This project was awarded on December 9, 2008. Construction began in spring 2009. Expected completion is November 2009.
